Troubleshooting - Internet Connection

This article is for if your device is not connected to the internet.


You do not have an internet connection if your device has a globe icon.

For wireless (WiFi) connections

For a wireless connection, select the globe icon (shown above) and select your WiFi network to connect to. If you require a password to connect the device in school, please contact your site technician who may enter the password. (We are unable to hand this password out.

If your device is still not connecting after trying to connect to the WiFi at school AND at home, you may need to plug your laptop in on a wired connection and await for us to connect to it. Images are below of what you may require.


For wired connections 

If your device is on a cabled connection, please ensure that the cable is not damaged and plugged in at both ends. The cable will look similar to this. The faceplate will look similar to the picture of this.
